The weekend event wasn't useful for my main, as she has better than 900 skill points, so I logged onto my lvl 17 Rit, who had no Elites.

Unfortunately I didn't realize at the time how deeply into Cantha the Elites for Rits were kept. I managed to cap Tranquil and umm,..the Diversion-like one before the event was over, thanks in no small part due to the weather here in TX and some internet outages.

I wouldn't mind seeing this type of weekend event come around again. At least with those two caps it put my Rit 'above the curve' in accumulating skill points.

I wish they would stop making every weekend event so narrow in scope, like most ppl who have played for awhile, I don't need more elites capped. Why can't we just have a few double xp weekends period, with no conditions attached?

Let's hear it for soul reaping...

Until then, weekend events, HM and even trade systems hold little interest for me.

They are throwing out these weekends to try and get us all wrapped up in the weekend, so we forget about what really needs to be done. Very mischevious Anet. :P

Can we get a poll started on Forums about what our favorite weekends are. So then we can choose what we want. That could get out of hands, double fame every weekend, but atleast we can give them our input.

I like the weekend events, even if it's just a small thing but it keeps me interested. I've been doing a lot of elite caps again, although I don't really need the XP. I have more skill points than I can spend currently. But at least these weekend events give you some inspiration to do cartain activities again.
